Unsuccessful project sync

Hi guys,I have tried building my first program using android studio 3.2.0 but there are these errors below and I am unable to resolve.
1)Caused by: org.gradle.api.internal.artifacts.ivyservice.DefaultLenientConfiguration$ArtifactResolveException: Could not resolve all artifacts for configuration ‘:classpath’.
2)Gradle sync failed: No cached version of com.android.tools.build:gradle:3.6.2 available for offline mode.
Consult IDE log for more details (Help | Show Log) (18 s 920 ms)
